Go ahead and be a simp for a brand. I stopped buying Rolexes when they started shorting the supply deliberately. When I go to the store, I don't dress up. I live so close to the store that it is pretentious to even dress up. I just show up with my normal clothes and they wont sell me anymore.

I registered with rolex 2.5 years ago. I registered for several watches as suggested by the sales women. I did the opposite of what the guy is saying on the vid and was quite specific with the models I wanted and it seemed to impress the sales women as she realised I had done my research and knew what I wanted rather than being vauge and wasting time. I then emailed them now and again for the first year, I even popped into AD few times to build this so called rapport as I watched similar vids on youtube. It's hard to build this relationship as everytime I went in I was seen by different sales people. I then gave up as i wasnt prepared to do what this guy is advising and wasnt in contact with AD for well over a year. However, last week I got a call from the AD out of the blue to say that they have a watch that I had registered for. I was a bit shocked as I have no history of buying with the AD and no contact for over a year. I then went and saw the watch few days later and bought it straight away. I ended up with the exact watch i wanted and didnt have to suck up to no one.🥳🥳. Its my first rolex and it's very nice but not worth bending backwards and sucking up to those people at the AD. I learnt my watch was worth approx £2k more after the purchase then before. It's madness, but i wasn't complaining and tbh didn't care as i bought it to wear.

It's sad that watches that look good cost over 1k+. MaMaCoo watches are REALLY well made, and it just shows how a brand name on a watch can make its price 10x higher. I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?
